While sometimes misunderstood, snakes play an important role in many ecosystems. Meet the park’s friendly neighborhood corn snake and learn about the fantastic behavior and biology of snakes in Virginia. We’ll go over what distinguishes a venomous snake in this area, and how to act if you encounter one.
