A rash of up to 20 instances of residents’ tires being slashed across Charlotte County has provided no leads for the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office to follow up on and no explanation or recourse for victims of the indiscriminate and destructive spree of vandalism. According to Charlotte County Sheriff’s Investigator Johnny Wright, “There is no common thread among the victims for us to follow. They just seemed to go all over the place.”
