Mary Jones Weston, age 90, completed her earthly journey and left to be with God on Thursday, April 11, 2019. She was born in Charlotte County on August 7, 1928 to the late Benson Ray and Betty Gholson Jones and was married to the late Willie Roy Weston. Mary was a 1946 graduate of Randolph Henry High School and retired from Burlington Industries, where she worked in the Sample Department. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Red Oak.

Mary is survived by her son, Garland Weston, of Red Oak; two daughters and their husbands, Shirley and Ralph Madison of Red Oak and Carolyn and Barry Hughes of Clarksville; grandsons, Chad Madison (Cherie) and Brandon Madison and great-grandchildren Natalie and Alexander Madison. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara Holley (George) of Dinwiddie. In addition to her husband and parents, Mary was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Mull.

A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 14, 2019, at Antioch Baptist Church with the Reverend Kristen White officiating. The family received friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall.
