Charlotte County is under a severe thunderstorm watch until 10 p.m. Monday, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

 

“Occasional showers and possibly a thunderstorm before midnight, then scattered showers and thunderstorms between midnight and 1am, then scattered showers after 1 am,” the NWS cited for the forecast Monday evening. “Some storms could be severe, with large hail and damaging winds.”
