Randolph-Henry High School’s (R-H) varsity baseball team enters its home game Wednesday on a five-game winning streak that has featured a no-hitter by senior Skylar Lacks.

The Statesmen defeated host Brunswick High School on Monday, 16-2 in five innings for their fifth consecutive win.
On Thursday, they routed host Nottoway High School 10-0, with Lacks leading the way on the mound.
R-H Head Coach Josh Barmoy noted that Lacks allowed zero hits and runs over six innings, throwing 11 strikeouts and allowing no walks.
On offense, Barmoy highlighted how the Statesmen scattered nine hits in the game. Sophomore Brenden Francisco and junior Carson Gibbs each recorded two hits to lead the team.

“I am really proud of the guys’ energy level today,” Barmoy said. “With spring break right around the corner our guys didn’t go through the motions they came to COMPETE!”

Randolph-Henry holds a record of 6-1 entering its home game Wednesday against Park View High School, of South Hill. First pitch is set for 6 p.m.
