Randolph-Henry High School’s varsity baseball team gave fans a thrilling show Friday night
against visiting Amelia County High School with the right kind of ending. The Statesmen took an early 6-1 lead, but the Raiders proved resilient, rallying to claim a 7-6 advantage later on. Randolph-Henry junior Colby Jordan projected quiet confidence on the mound in relief and helped hold Amelia, while a similarly collective effort on offense lifted the Statesmen to an 11-7 come from behind victory at Bankston Field.
