Virginia Geraldine Venable, age 84 of Washington, DC, died on February 17, 2019 in Washington, DC. She was the daughter of the late Phillip and Irene East.

She is survived by four sons, Raymond H. Venable, Ronald P. Venable, Roland S. Venable and Michael A. Venable; one daughter-in-law, Barbara J. Venable; two grandsons, Roland S. Venable Jr. (and his wife Ashley), Isiah Michael Venable; one granddaughter, Valerie Y. Venable, two great-grandsons, Shantin Dove and Roland Douglas Venable and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins (to include those she called the Detroit crew).

Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Louis Baptist Church in Charlotte Court House with interment in the church cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at www.JeffressFuneralHome.com. Arrangements were by Jeffress Funeral Home of Charlotte Court House.
