Danny Walton, age 60 of Appomattox, died on February 3, 2019 in Appomattox. He was the son of the late George Bradford Walton and Rosetta Thompson Walton.

He is survived by two children, Shirrell Walton of Appomattox and William “Matt” Walton of Drakes Branch; six grandchildren; five sisters, Rosa Pride of Keysville, Ann S. Coles of Florrissant, MO, Terri Walton (James) of Fort Mitchell, Phyllis Buchanan of Baltimore, MD and Jacqueline Michael of Randallstown, MD; six brothers, George Walton, Jr. (Darlene), Paul

Walton (Marie) and Denny Walton (Ernestine), all of Drakes Branch, Harold Walton (Thelma) of Phenix, Ronald Walton (Delois) of Kenbridge and Douglas Walton of Red Oak; a devoted friend Tyrone Drumgoole of Appomattox; and a host of other relatives and friends.
