A notice was sent via phone and social media by Charlotte County Public Schools detailing a written bomb threat on a restroom wall at Phenix Elementary School Monday morning.

Students at the school are being relocated to Central Middle School, the call reported.

This is the second written bomb threat reported by the school division, the first occurring at Central Middle School last week. The Central Middle School bomb threat was determined to be a student prank after an investigation.

While the incident is believed to be another student prank, the call cited, the students are being relocated in order for law enforcement to conduct a search and investigation within the school.

A second message is expected to be sent once the investigation is complete.
