James H. Saunders, 50, went home to be with the Lord on December 14, 2018. He was born August 24, 1968, to Billy Leonard Saunders and Ann Sims Saunders.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Morris Winston Sims, Sr., his father, Billy Leonard Saunders, Sr., two brothers, Billy Leonard Saunders, Jr., and Carlton Donald Fallen, Jr. and nephew, Jordan Tyler Saunders.

He is survived by his grandmother, Nell Sims, mother, Ann Fallen and her husband, Carlton D. Fallen, Sr., wife Joy C. Saunders, two children, Justin R. M. Saunders and Jessica N. Saunders, sister Tina Saunders and nieces Madalyn Saunders and Katrina Shelton Saunders, two uncles Morris Winston Sims, Jr., and Jerry Lee Sims (Lisa) along with many other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on January 5, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Southall Memorial UMC in Saxe.
