Break in pending investigation

- The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a break in at the Drakes Branch Dollar General that occurred in the nighttime hours of Dec. 16.
The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a break-in at Dollar General in Drakes Branch.
According to the Sheriff’s Department, the incident occurred during the nighttime hours of Dec. 16.
The Drakes Branch Dollar General is located at 112 Saxkey Road and has only been in business since 2016.
The matter is currently pending investigation and the department is asking anyone with information regarding the incident to call the Sheriff’s Department at (434) 542-5141.
