The Randolph-Henry High School Athletic Department was recently recognized with the Virginia High School League (VHSL) Stay in the Game Award for the second consecutive year, according to a school press release.

Officials noted in the release that this award is earned only by schools that go an entire year without an ejection of any coach or player.

There are 316 VHSL member schools across the state of Virginia, the released cited, and Randolph-Henry was one of 47 to receive this award.

Randolph-Henry Director of Athletics and Assistant Principal Christopher Holt said in the release, “We are incredibly proud of our athletic department’s players and coaches for being recognized by the Virginia High School League for this sportsmanship award. The character development of team members and staff is a consistent priority for us all. Well done student-athletes and coaches! Keep up the good work.”
