Miss Sarah Virginia Baker, age 63 of Brookneal, died November 14, 2018 in Lynchburg. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Clarence E. Baker and Mrs. Odell Gaines Baker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Tekoa Baker; two brothers, Clarence W. Baker and William Carrington Baker, and one sister, Peggy B. Freeman.

She is survived by two brothers, Herman (Ann) Baker and Wayne (Faye) Baker, all of Brookneal; two sisters, Faye A. Baker of Randolph and Alma Baker of Martinsville; a sister-in-law, Linda C. Baker of Nathalie; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, November 18, at 2:00 p.m. at Gethsemane Presbyterian Church in Drakes Branch with interment in the Ridgeway Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Brookneal. Arrangements were by Jeffress Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Brookneal.
