Anne Bailey Jarvis, 90, of Lynchburg passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Thomas A. Jarvis.

Anne was born in Charlotte County, May 26, 1928, a daughter of the late Ashby Conway Bailey and Mary Jane Holt Bailey. She was a member of Brookneal Presbyterian Church and worked her entire life devoted to her family, parents, husband, and children. She loved gardening, cooking, and animals, especially cats.

She is survived by a daughter, Ava Jane Connelly (James A. Jr.) of Brookneal; a son Dean Atwell Jarvis; a sister, Aileen Epperson both of Lynchburg; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Calvin Bailey.

The family would like to thank the caregivers at Lynchburg General Hospital and Runk and Pratt for their care this past year.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 21, at Henderson Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Herndon Jeffreys with interment to follow in Wickliffe cemetery.

The family received friends from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, at Henderson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Brookneal.
