Randolph-Henry High School (R-H) was represented by a lone competitor at the 2018 Virginia High School League Class 2 Cross Country State Championships, held Friday and Saturday at Great Meadow Foundation in The Plains. Lady Statesmen freshman Olivia Nelson finished the 5,000-meter run with a time of 24 minutes, 52 seconds. She placed 84th out of 101 runners.

Taking first place, individually, was Maggie L. Walker Governor’s School junior Mary Caroline Heinen, with a time of 18:25.
