Willie Mae Seamster Duffey

Willie Mae Seamster Duffey of Randolph, VA passed away October 24, 2018. She was born in Halifax County, VA on November 23, 1922 and was 95 years of age. She was the daughter of the late John Tazewell Seamster and the late Mary Powell Seamster. She was married to the late Albert Fitzhugh Duffey. She was a member of Clover Baptist Church.
Willie Mae S. Duffey is survived by her children, Billy Monroe Duffey and wife Shirley of Halifax, Everette Dean Duffey of Danville, Junior Duffey and wife Janice of Clover, Gail D. Vaughan and husband Steve of South Boston, Charles Duffey of Randolph; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one great great grandchild; siblings, Mildred Smithers of Charlottesville, Shirley Johnson of Powhatan and J. T. Seamster and wife Barbara of Victoria.
She was preceded in death by her son, James Gray Duffey; daughters-in-law, Ernestine Duffey, Daisy Link Duffey and Bonnie Duffey; siblings, Essie Blackstock, Ellen Hightower, Mary Noblin, Herman Seamster, Otis Seamster, Paul Seamster, Hagood Seamster and T.J. Seamster.
Funeral services were held Saturday, October 27, at 2 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Jerry Foley officiating. Burial was in Clover Cemetery.
