FAFSA NIGHT, 4-6:30 p.m. at the Randolph-Henry High School Library. Randolph-Henry High School College Adviser Dasmen Richards, along with college representatives from Southside Virginia Community College and Longwood University will help high school seniors file their FAFSA. USDA FOOD BANK, 10-11:45 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Red House. This food bank is for those in the Phenix and surrounding Red House community who are residents of Charlotte County. Food can only be received at one USDA site in Virginia. Bring a large cardboard box. Contact Bernice Pannell with questions after 5 p.m. and before 8 p.m. at (434) 248- 6465.

FALL FESTIVAL, 2-5 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church in Red House. There will be bouncy houses, cotton candy, popcorn and a cake walk. The event is free. Everyone is invited. The church is located at 1055 Lawyers Road.

PASTOR’S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION, 3 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church in Red Oak. The event will celebrate the birthday of The Rev. Roger Lee Allen. The church is located at 4050 Salem School Road.

146TH CHURCH ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. at St. Michael Baptist Church in Drakes Branch. The Rev. Percy Younger will bring the anniversary message. He will be accompanied by his choir. Everyone is invited. Dinner will be served.

MEN’S DAY PROGRAM, 3 p.m. at Mossingford Baptist Church in Saxe. The speaker will be the Rev. Phillip Brown, Pastor of Promise Land Baptist Church. Everyone is invited. Refreshments will be served.

COMMUNITY CHORUS ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. at New Bethel Baptist. The chorus will celebrate its 10th anniversary. Special guest will be the Soul Seekers from Mechanicsville. Dinner will be served.

SENIOR CHOIR ANNIVERSARY, 3:30 p.m. at Mt. Ellis Baptist Church. The Broad Rock Male Choir from Richmond will be the guest musicians. Everyone is invited. The church is located at 8409 George Washington Hwy. in Keysville.

MEN’S CHORUS ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church in Meherrin. The New Bethel Baptist Church Community Men Chorus will celebrate its 10th anniversary. The Soul Seekers of Mechanicsville will be in concert. Dinner will be served. All are invited.

FAMILY AND FRIENDS DAY, 2 p.m. in Boydton. Barbara Finley and Sister Octoberfest will be held at 2740 Hwy 92 and is co-hosted by the Southside Virginia Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club. Music will be provided by DJ Kool Daddy and the event will include a biker cruze-in, raffle drawing, traditional stew, trophies, hourly prizes, hot pork skins, cornhole, horseshoes and more. CHRISTMAS BAZAAR, at St. Theresa Parish Center in Farmville. The event will be held Friday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Admission is free. The event will include door prizes, baked goods, jewelry, crafts, stained glass and more. The center is located at 700 Buffalo St. in Farmville.
