DAR MEETING, 10:30 a.m. at the Farmville-Prince Edward Community Library in Farmville. The guest speaker will be Donald C. Blessing, Circuit Court Judge, 10th Judicial Circuit of Virginia. The topic of discussion will be the First Amendment.

OPPORTUNITY FUND SKEET AND TRAP CLASSIC, 8 a.m. registration at Holiday Lake 4-H Educational Center in Appomattox. participants will shoot one round each of skeet and trap, have breakfast and lunch, win prizes and take home awards for their shooting skills. All proceeds will go to the nonprofit Southside Opportunity Fund’s scholarships for graduating high school seniors in Southside Electric Cooperative’s (SEC) service area.
