Randolph-Henry High School’s varsity football team experienced a difficult start to the 2018 season Friday evening with a 56-6 loss on the road to William Campbell High School.

The Generals, which went 9-3 in an outstanding 2017 campaign, returned strong this year.

The Statesmen (0-1) will be in action next Friday at 7 p.m. with a road game against James River High School, of Buchanan.
