It is comprised of fifth-graders who were recommended by their teachers for exhibiting outstanding character traits and maintaining good grades. Phenix Elementary AAA School Safety Patrol helps promote the development of leadership skills and good citizenship qualities in students.
The primary purpose of our safety patrol is to ensure the safety of students as they arrive and depart our campus. Patrol members received training before beginning this program that included traffic safety lessons, pedestrian safety and leadership skill building. Members of the Safety Patrol are positioned at all entrances and classroom doorways, on the bus court as buses are loading and unloading and at parent pickup/ drop-off areas.
