August 6-10

REVIVAL SERVICES, 7:30 p.m. nightly at St. Level Baptist Church in Clarksville. Guest ministers will include the Rev. Reginald Hurt, Sr., the Rev. Eva B. Hurt and the Rev. Andy Hargrove. Different choirs have been invited for each night, along with their congregation and ushers. The public is invited.

August 6

FIRST RESPONDERS PROGRAM, Noon – 3 p.m. at Charlotte Primary Care in Charlotte Court House. The event will be held to raise awareness about the mission and accomplishments of America’s Health Centers and dedicated staff.

August 7

NATIONAL NIGHT OUT, 4-7 p.m. at the Charlotte Court House Dixie Youth Ballpark. The event is free and open to the public and will include music, food, school supplies, a bounce house, emergency vehicles and more.

BEEKEEPER’S MEETING, 7 p.m. at the Prince Edward County Extension Office across from Lowe’s in Farmville. Avenue Richmond will present a program on how to melt and clean beeswax and how to make things out of it. Anyone who has bees or is interested in bees is welcome. August 9

BLOOD DRIVE, 1-6 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church in Red Oak. Wylliesburg Baptist Church is the sponsor of this drive.

August 10

COMMUNITY MEETING, 7 p.m. at the Bacon District Firehouse. This meeting is hosted by Wylliesburg/Red Oak Supervisor Kay Pierantoni. County Treasurer Patricia Berkeley will speak regarding the county tax system.

August 11

ON THE LAWN FELLOWSHIP, 5 p.m. at St. Level Baptist Church in Clarksville. The church will have their annual “on the lawn” picnic and fellowship. The public is invited.

USHER’S PROGRAM, 3 p.m. at Mossingford Baptist Church. The Rev. Samuel Trent will be the guest speaker along with his choir. All are invited. Refreshments will be served.

August 12

HOMECOMING SERVICE, 11 a.m. at St. Level Baptist Church in Clarksville. The Rev. Toney W. Smith will deliver the message. The public is invited.

HOMECOMING SERVICE, 11 a.m. at St. Michael Baptist Church. Pastor James Goode will deliver the message. Lunch will be served. Everyone is welcome.

HOMECOMING SERVICE, 11 a.m. at New Witt Baptist Church in Farmville. The Rev. Winston Bland will deliver the message.

August 13-17

REVIVAL SERVICES, 7 p.m. prayer and praise, followed by 7:30 p.m. revival service nightly at New Witt Baptist Church. The public is invited.

August 18

GOSPEL PROGRAM, 4 p.m. at St. Louis Baptist Church in Charlotte Court House. Special guests will be the New Beginning’s Gospel Singers of Appomattox. Everyone is invited.

August 19

WOMEN’S MINISTRY PROGRAM, 3 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church in Keysville. All ladies wear white with a red flower. Refreshments will be served after service.

August 20

DEMOCRATIC MEETING, 7 p.m. at the Drakes Branch Municipal Building, 4800 Drakes Main St.

August 25

COMMUNITY FUN DAY, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Emmanuel Bible Church in Keysville. Attractions will include two inflatables, cake walks, dunking booth, music, food, indoor and outdoor games, local fire and rescue vehicles, and more.

September 17

DEMOCRATIC MEETING, 7 p.m. at the Drakes Branch Municipal Building, 4800 Drakes Main St.
