Anniversary wishes to Cheryl and Edward Hicks, Aug.1, 14 years, Charlotte Court House. I wish you many more happy years together with God’s Blessings.

Get well wishes to all of the sick and shut-in. I hope you are well soon, up and about. You are in our thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery.

Sympathy to all of the families who lost a loved one recently. Our heartfelt prayers and good wishes go out to all of you in your time of need. You have our deepest sympathy.

Thought for the week: When you need help, just look in the mirror. Nobody else will come and rescue you from your troubles as well as you can, because at the end of the day, people can walk your path with you, but can’t walk it for you.

It is the quality of our work which will please God and not the quantity. You will never do anything in this world without courage. It is the greatest quality of the mind next to honor. The way we communicate with others and with ourselves ultimately determines the quality of our lives.

The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts, therefore guard accordingly and take care that you entertain no notions unsuitable to virtue and reasonable nature. All good work requires self-revelation. That’s what keeps me alive, perseverance and star quality.
