Shirley Faye Miller Mills, age 78, of Goochland, VA, formerly of Clarksville, VA, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018. She was born April 21, 1940 in Moultrie, GA and was the daughter of the late Leroy Miller and the late Letha Mae Richter Brady. She was attending Corinth United Methodist Church in Goochland, VA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Henry Mills, Sr.; son, Herbert Henry “Ikey” Mills, Jr.; grandson, Brian Lee Mills; granddaughter, Megan Darlene Coleman; and sister, Beverly Petree. Faye is survived by three daughters, Darlene Mills Coleman of Madison Heights, VA, Annette Mills Darden of Chase City, VA, and Rosemary Mills Price and husband, James of Chase City, VA; one son, Christopher Boyd Mills of Red Oak, VA; eight grandchildren, Tracy Hylton and husband, Danny, Daniel Coleman and wife, Megan, John McCall, Jr., Justin Price and wife, Michelle, Jesse Price and fiance’, Justin Wallen, Brent Throckmorton and wife, Samantha, Cameron Mills, and Heath Mills; and six great-grandchildren, Kayla Hylton, Kensley Hylton, Kymber Hylton, Caiden Coleman, Gabriel Price, and Jaxton Price. She is also survived by one brother, Leroy Miller; one sister, Jean Spicer; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held from 7 until 8:30 p.m., Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 6, 2018 at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in the Mills Family Cemetery in Red Oak, VA.
