The Charlotte County All-Star team competing in the 2018 Dixie Youth Baseball Minor League All-Star District 5 double-elimination tournament in Dinwiddie had a 1-1 record entering its game Monday against the Lunenburg County Youth Baseball League All-Stars.

Charlotte opened its district tourney run against the host Dinwiddie National All-Stars, who jumped out to a big lead. But Charlotte climbed back in the game before narrowly falling 12-10.

Following through on the promise they showed in that game, the Charlotte County All-Stars pulled away and eliminated the Prince Edward-Farmville Youth Association All-Star team with a 17-7 win Sunday.
