The No. 1-seeded Randolph-Henry High School varsity baseball team defeated visiting No. 4 Greensville County High School 9-4 on Tuesday in the Region 2A quarterfinals.

In the semifinals Wednesday at 6 p.m., the Statesmen (17-4) will host Maggie L. Walker Governor’s School, the No. 3 seed from the other side of the bracket. The winner secures a berth in the state tournament.
