Randolph-Henry High School’s varsity wrestling team featured six wrestlers placing in the top-three of their respective weight classes at Thursday’s James River District tournament at Amelia County High School.

Placing second were John Wendelin, Billy French, Layton Payne, Danny Parrish and Caleb Calhoun, while Chandler Newcomb place third.

In an invitational Saturday at Glenvar High School, Calhoun placed third and French placed fifth.

The regional tournament is set for Saturday at Poquoson High School.
