On Monday evening, Jan. 15, 2018, God called one of his children, Wilfred Lee Goode home. He was born in Charlotte County, Virginia on August 16, 1959 to the late David Louis Goode, Sr. and Lucille Jones Goode of Saxe, Virginia. Wilfred attended Charlotte County Public Schools and worked with Stanley Lumber Company until he became disabled. He loved to go fishing and was a very loving and caring individual to his family and everyone he knew.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Louise Goode, his brother, Thomas Goode, and nephew, Isaiah Jones. Wilfred leaves to cherish his memory, brothers and sisters, Shirley Jones of Washington, D.C., David Goode, Jr. (Lovetta) of Drakes Branch, Donald and Ralph Goode of Randolph; one brother-in-law, Carlos Venable, Sr. of Boston, Mass.; four nephews, Eric Goode, Willie Goode, Carlos Venable, Jr., and Darrell Jones; two nieces, Rachel Roberts and Tyaundra Jones; host of great nieces and nephews; three aunts, Carrie Jones, Anna Crawley, and Charlotte Jones; three uncles, John Lewis Hunt, Charlie Jones, and Joe Jones (Deloris); one great aunt, Mollie Virginian Overby Terry; host of cousins and friends.

Funeral Services were held 12 noon Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018 at Mossingford Baptist Church in Saxe, Virginia with interment in the church cemetery.
