On Saturday, Dec. 24, 2017, our heavenly father called our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Linda Rose Clark Evans to eternal rest at her home in Saxe, Virginia. She was born on May 24, 1947 to the late Eula Jane Clark.

Linda was preceded in death by her two sons, Edward and Nevada Lambert and her sister, Carolyn Coles. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Lawrence Evans of Saxe; three children, Elizabeth Evans(Dennis) of Boydton, Rose Skipper of Drakes Branch, and Linard Lamber of Saxe; nine grandchildren, Julisa Brandon (Adrian), Jessica Lambert, Kourtney Logan, Whitney Lambert, Brittney Sydnor (Brian), Lindayle Lambert, Chardaye Lambert, Kurtis Lambert (Quita), and Tonna (Olijuwan); eight great-grandchildren; two aunts, Barbara Ridgeway and Cora Clark; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends, Michael Wright, Kevin Reed and James Reed.

Funeral service were held 11a.m. Saturday, Dec. 30,2017 at the Garrette Dupee’s Memorial Chapel in Drakes Branch with interment in the Brown Memorial Garden Cemetery in Saxe.
