Randolph-Henry High School’s varsity girls basketball team has started the season with a 1-6 record but finish its 2017 schedule on a high note, defeating visiting Central Lunenburg High School 36-29 on Dec. 19.

Anisha Marable led the Lady Statesmen with 11 points, while Tajalin Arvin-Watson added nine points and Tori Washington had eight.

R-H’s junior varsity girls team holds a 1-4 record after falling 31-26 to visiting Central on Dec. 19. Najada Robertson scored 14 points.
