Pearline Marie St. John

Pearline Marie St. John quietly departed this life on Nov. 9, 2017. She was born in Charlotte County, Virginia on Sept. 1, 1931 to the late Marie and Albert Thompson.
Pearline, or Pearl as she was affectionately called by her family and friends is survived by a host of loved ones who will cherish her memories, her companion, Willard Jackson, her children, Ernest Thompson, Melvin St. John, Michael St. John, and Carlisa Brooks; one son-in-law, Paul Brooks; five grandchildren, Carmisha St. John, Valencia St. John, Tynisha Richardson, Matthew Butler and Betty Smith; five great grandchildren, Aniyah, Aiyonna, Dallas. Keliah and Tyli; two sisters, Leola Jenkins and Idenia Campbell; four brothers, Daniel Thompson, Douglas Thompson, Bobby Thompson and Leonard Thompson. Two brothers-in-law, George Jenkins and Samuel Odulana, one sister-in-law, Linda Thompson; a maternal aunt, Van Terry and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Anna Odulana and two brothers, James and Bennett Thompson.
Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 17, 2017 at Word of Prayer Cultural Center, Largo, MD with Dr. Joseph Gray, Jr. officiating.
