Both Dominion Energy and Southside Electric Cooperative (SEC) are reporting power outages in Charlotte County as of Friday evening at 10 p.m.

SEC is reporting on its website that 856 members have lost power in Charlotte County.

On its website, Dominion Energy is reporting 37 customers have lost power near Charlotte Court House, and 17 customers have lost power near Saxe. For the outages near Charlotte Court House, investigation is pending with regard to both the estimated time of restoration and the outage cause.
