Elevating the Cavs

Former Randolph-Henry High School standout Joe Reed put up impressive numbers in his sophomore season of college football playing for the University of Virginia Cavaliers. As a kick returner, he returned the ball 26 times for 743 yards and one touchdown, averaging 28.6 yards per return. As a receiver, he recorded 21 catches for 232 yards and two touchdowns, and he was also active in the running game, carrying the ball 19 times for 101 yards and a touchdown. He helped the Cavs improve from 2-10 in 2016 to 6-6 this year.
