Randolph-Henry girls volleyball team falls in regional quarterfinals

Randolph-Henry High School’s varsity girls volleyball team advanced as far as the quarterfinals of the Class 2 Region A tournament before falling 3-0 to top-seeded Nottoway High School on Saturday.
The fifth-seeded Lady Statesmen defeated No. 4 Greensville County High School 3-0 Thursday in the first round of the tournament, rebounding after finishing the regular season on a four-match losing streak.
Randolph-Henry finished the 2017 season with an overall record of 7-11.
