Bridge project a success

The Charlotte County Board of Supervisors, the local sheriff’s department, landowners, representatives from the Virginia Department of Transportation, Virginia Commonwealth Transportation Board, and members of the community, held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate completion of The Louse Creek Bridge replacement project. The bridge replacement will allow for safer travel in the area. Pictured are, from left, Scot Shippee, Gary Walker, Butch Shook, Haywood Hamlet, Sheriff Thomas Jones and Red Moore during the official ribbon cutting ceremony. We appreciate the hard work leaders in our community put forth to make the project a successful reality.
