Lottie Pulliam Dean

On Friday, Sept. 29, 2017, Lottie Pulliam Dean peacefully returned to her maker at her home in Drakes Branch, Virginia. She was born in Charlotte County on July 15,1935 to the late Willie James and Fleecy Pulliam.

After high school, Lottie moved to New Jersey where she met her husband, Joe Dean. Upon retirement from Lyons Veteran Hospital, she moved back to Drakes Branch with her husband and son. She enjoyed spending time with her son and family and attending her church.

Lottie was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Willie Dean, brother, Sidney Pulliam, and her parents, Willie James and Fleecy Pulliam. She leaves to cherish fond memories, a loving and devoted son, Ronald of Drakes Branch; devoted brother and sister-in-law, Willie and Blanche Pulliam of Charlotte Court House; very special cousins, the Tatum and Bouldin families; host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Services were held 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017 at the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Drakes Branch with Rev. Isiah Hurt officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
