John Vaden Chiles

John Vaden Chiles, age 59, of Saxe, VA passed away Friday, Oct. 6, 2017. He was born October 14, 1957 in Farmville, VA. He was a truck driver for J.D. Newman, Inc. and a member of Keysville United Methodist Church. John loved spending time with his girls, being at home, working in his shop, and riding motorcycles with his friends. He was predeceased by his father, William Vaden Chiles. John is survived by his wife, Sharon Daly Chiles; daughter, Beth Pulliam and husband, David of Danville, VA; three granddaughters, Sidney Foster, Mikayah Pulliam, and Summerlyn Pulliam; mother, Barbara Jones Chiles of Keysville, VA; brother, Greg Chiles and wife, Lisa of New Kent, VA; two nieces, Holly Chiles and Victoria Chiles; two great-nephews, Kolton and Levi; mother-in-law, Mary Phillips Martin; three brothers-in-law, James “Beetle” Daly, Kenneth “Legs” Daly, and David Daly, Jr.; numerous friends; and beloved dogs, Maggie and Sadie. A memorial service was held Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home Chapel.
