James K. Gregory, a native of Drakes Branch, is seeking election to the Drakes Branch Town Council.

“After living and working in Richmond, he returned to his hometown in 2011 and has tried to make a difference in the community,” Gregory said in a press release. “He is a trustee of the St. Michael Baptist Church, active in other community organizations and was on the zoning appeals board for Drakes Branch.”

“Drakes Branch is my home and I want to help it grow,” said Gregory in a press release. “I really like the progress that has been made so far and I want to see it continue. I feel I would be a valuable addition to the town council.”

Gregory is the son of the late Hillary “Bug” Gregory and Lucille Gregory.
