The Central Middle School (CMS) golf team defeated Powhatan 203-226 on Sept. 12 to repeat as the Southside Middle School Conference regular season champions.

With the road victory, the Bobcats also improved 7-0 on the season.

Central was led by Bryson Francisco, who shot a 45, Austin Queensberry, who recorded a 49, Thomas Johnson, who produced a 52, and Tucker Webb, who notched a 57.

The Bobcats concluded the regular season Monday against Amelia, and they will compete in the district tournament Monday, Oct. 2, at Park View.
