Bacon District Elementary School families joined together to collect 73 cases of bottled water for Hurricane Harvey victims in Texas.  Matthew “Matt” Duffer, a Bacon parent, will deliver the donations to Mecklenburg Electrical Cooperative. The Coop will transport the water to the Victoria Electric Cooperative in Victoria, Texas for distribution. Students and their families will show their support to those impacted by Hurricane Irma by conducting another bottled water collection. Bacon’s students are shown proudly displaying the results of their efforts.
