WoodmenLife Chapter 179 is set to conducting a special community ceremony to honor the heroes and victims of Sept. 11, 2001.

The ceremony, called “In Honor and Remembrance – Woodmen Salutes America’s Heroes,” will also include a salute to the heroes in our own community, including police officers, fire fighters and members of the rescue squad, members of the armed forces and others who help ensure safety each and every day.

The ceremony will be held Monday  at the Wylliesburg Community Building, 540 Jackson-Vaughan Road, Wylliesburg, at 6 p.m.
