Pamela Wilmouth Johnson

Pamela Wilmouth Johnson 67 of Powhatan, passed away on August 11, 2017.

She was born in Wayne County, West Virginia to the late Coleman and Mary Burke Wilmouth on February 20, 1950. She was raised in Charlotte County and married William Henderson Johnson in 1974. She was a member of Farmville Presbyterian Church and worked 36 years in the school system. She worked as a Gym teacher at Prince Edward Elementary School and was a favorite among her students. She had many hobbies including music, art, playing tennis, basketball, singing karaoke, gardening and playing the violin.

She is survived by her husband, one son William Henderson Johnson Jr. from Farmville, daughter, Abbi Johnson Williams (Dane) of Powhatan, two sisters, Nina Davis (Jerry) of Lexington, NC, Jane Hayes (Tommy) of Keysville; two grandchildren, Rylan Christian Williams, Allie Carrington Williams; and two brothers Paul and David Lykins.

A funeral service was held on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home. Family received friends on Friday, August 18, 2017 from 12–2 p.m. at the funeral home.
