For 17 years, Charlotte County resident Gary Morton has been driving trucks for Walmart. He recently clocked 1.5 million “safe miles” through his long tenure as a truck driver. Morton was recently recognized by his colleagues, supervisor and other Walmart employees for his absence of accidents and crashes while traversing the vast amount pavement he’s seen. We commend Morton for not only keeping himself and his truck safe, but for driving in a manner that protects those around him.
