Former Randolph-Henry High School baseball stars Joseph Reed, left, and Cameron Vassar received official recognition earlier this year for being Virginia High School League Group 2A all-state first team selections for the 2016 season. Reed was selected as an outfielder, and Vassar was selected as a pitcher. They were also named to the all-state first team released by the Virginia High School Coaches Association. As seniors, Reed and Vassar contributed significantly to Randolph-Henry’s 20-3 run in 2016, which included a conference tournament title.
