BLOG gets high honors

Randolph-Henry High School’s BLOG Club received the Outstanding Club of the Year award from Youth of Virginia Speak Out (YOVASO) at James Madison University during a summer leadership program held recently. “They competed with over 96 schools throughout the state of Virginia for this yearly award based on activities, campaigns, seatbelt checks and student participation,” club officials said in a press release. “This is the club’s third year in action — first year winning New Club of the Year, New Adviser of the Year and third place in the Arrive Alive Campaign, second year winning Club of the Year, Adviser of the Year and first place in the Arrive Alive Campaign, third year winning Outstanding Club of the Year and third place in the Arrive Alive Campaign.
