MAY 10-12

REVIVAL, 7 p.m. at St. Michael Baptist Church in Drakes Branch. Guest preacher is the Rev. Stanley Wesley, pastor of the Mt. Moriah-Upper Room Baptist Church. Different musicians will perform each night. Everyone is welcome to come and worship.

REVIVAL, 7 p.m. nightly at Mossingford Baptist Church. The speaker of the week will be the Rev. Troy Anderson, pastor of St. Mary’s Baptist Church in Amherst. A different choir will render music each night. Everyone is invited.

MAY 11

BLOOD DRIVE, 1-6 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church in Red Oak. Hebron United Methodist Church is the sponsor of the drive. The church is located at 6700 Barnesville Hwy.

MAY 13

CATFISH TOURNAMENT, 5:30 p.m. registration time at Staunton River State Park Picnic Shelter No. 2. The captains’ meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by the fishing kickoff at 7 p.m. All fishing will conclude at 2 a.m. This event is sponsored by the Halifax Volunteer Fire Department. The event will include food, drinks, T-shirts, prizes and raffles.

WOMEN’S DAY, 3 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church. Several prominent women from the community will speak. The Salem Baptist Church Choir and the Spiritual Four will render the music. All are invited.

FISH FRY, 11 a.m. on Main Street in Keysville up from Subway. This event will be sponsored by the Antioch Baptist Church in Keysville, weather permitting.

MAY 16

BLOOD DRIVE, 2-6 p.m. at Midway Baptist Church. To make a gift of life even more personal by giving it in honor of someone special, visit the Red Cross website redcrossblood.org/honorsomeone.

CHARLOTTE COUNTY GRAYS No. 1964 MEETING, 6:30 p.m. at Sheldon’s Restaurant in Keysville. A Dutch Treat meal will be served. A short business meeting and program will follow at 7:10 p.m. Guest speaker for the evening will be Byron Brady. All are welcome to attend.

MAY 21

PASTOR’S ANNIVERSARY, 4 p.m. at St. Andrews Baptist Church in Cullen. Guest preacher for the service will be the Rev. Dr. James H. Taylor III, of Jericho Baptist Church in Farmville. Repast will be served after the service.

MAY 23

PASTOR’S ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. at Mossingford Baptist Church. The Rev. James Taylor, pastor of Jericho Baptist Church in Farmville, will be the speaker. His choir will render the music. Everyone is invited. Dinner will be served after the service.

June 17

FAMILY AND FRIENDS DAY POSTPONED, at Gethsemane Presbyterian Church. A new date will be announced soon.
