FloraFest was set to be held rain or shine Saturday in Charlotte County, but the weather proved quite accommodating and a good crowd of people took part in the event held at the Charlotte County Extension Office (CCEO) in Charlotte Court House. Hosted by Charlotte County Master Gardeners and the Southside Virginia Herb Society, FloraFest included plant sales on the lawn in front of the CCEO, lectures inside the office, food, crafts and a raffle.
