MAY 3

REVIVAL, 7 p.m. nightly at Organ Hill Baptist Church. The speaker for the night will be the Rev. Jerome Davis of Lone Oak. Everyone is invited. 

MAY 4

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER BREAKFAST, 6 a.m. at Red Oak Excavating. The Red Oak Community National Day of Prayer Breakfast will include special music, prayer, a presentation of flags and more.

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER, 6:45 p.m. at Halifax County High School. The event is free and will feature worship leader/country music entertainer Craig Campbell.

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER, noon at the Keysville War Memorial. Public prayer service will be led by the Rev. Todd Childers, pastor of Emmanuel Bible Church. Prayers will be offered if weather is clear or raining.

REVIVAL, 7 p.m. nightly at Organ Hill Baptist Church. The speaker for the night will be the Rev. John Craighead, of Mossingford. Everyone is invited. 

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY, 6 p.m. at Morrison Grove Baptist Church in Charlotte Court House. All women are welcome to attend.

MAY 5

REVIVAL, 7 p.m. nightly at Organ Hill Baptist Church. The speaker for the night will be the Rev. Tyrone Brown of Macedonia Baptist Church. Everyone is invited. 

MAY 6

PAMPLIN BARN DANCE, 6-8 p.m. at the Pamplin Train Depot. The event is free and family-friendly.

MAY 7

FAMILY AND FRIENDS DAY, 11 a.m. at Antioch Baptist Church in Keysville. Pastor Wyatt Vaughan Jr. will deliver the message and Gill Hill Baptist Church Choir will be rendering the music. Dinner will be served. Everyone is invited.

PASTOR’S ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Wylliesburg. The Rev. Roger Allen, from Salem Baptist Church in Red Oak, will be the guest speaker, along with his choir and congregation. Lunch will be served following the morning worship service.

PASTOR’S ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. at Galilee Baptist Church. The Rev. Mack Talley, of New Liberty Baptist Church in Clarksville, will deliver the message. The Shining Stars will render the music. Dinner will be served.

MAY 8

REVIVAL, 7 p.m. nightly at Mossingford Baptist Church. The speaker of the week will be the Rev. Troy Anderson, pastor of St. Mary’s Baptist Church in Amherst. A different choir will be present each night. Everyone is invited.

MAY 9

SPRING BANQUET, 6 p.m. at Charleys Waterfront Café. This event is sponsored by The Judith-Randolph-Longwood Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. The topic will be highlights of the year, presented by Regent Melody Ramsey.

REVIVAL, 7 p.m. nightly at Mossingford Baptist Church. The speaker of the week will be the Rev. Troy Anderson, Pastor of St. Mary’s Baptist Church in Amherst. A different choir will be present each night. Everyone is invited.

MAY 10

REVIVAL, 7 p.m. at St. Michael Baptist Church in Drakes Branch. Deacons and choir members of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Drakes Branch will open up. Guest preacher is the Rev. Stanley Wesley, pastor of the Mt. Moriah-Upper Room Baptist Church. Everyone is welcome to come and worship.

BLOOD DRIVE, 1-6 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church in Red Oak. Hebron United Methodist Church is the sponsor of the drive.
