Three arrested in break-in

Three people have been arrested in connection with a reported breaking and entering at the Get-N-Go store at Crafton’s Gate near Drakes Branch.

Robert D. Foster Jr., 27, of Skipwith; James M. Gordon III, 39, of Clarksville; and Sarah O. Hutchins, 22, of Chase City were charged with breaking and entering and grand larceny, according a press release from the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.

 Dispatchers received a call at 11:44 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25 according to the release, saying that the 360 Get-N-Go store at Crafton’s Gate had been broken into.

Deputies, upon arrival, found that the front door glass had been smashed and $200 and a carton of cigarettes were taken, police said.

The three suspects were arrested after an investigation, according to the release.

Foster is being held without bond, while Gordon was released on a $2,000 secure bond. Police said Hutchins is being held on a $2,000 secure bond as of Thursday afternoon.

Foster and Hutchins were previously charged with breaking and entering and grand larceny for a March 28 incident that occurred at the same store, police said.
