R-HHS Greenhouse open for sales

The Randolph-Henry Horticulture Department has more than 90 varieties of vegetable seedlings and flowering plants for sale in its greenhouse this year. Selections include 17 varieties of tomatoes, including six types of heirlooms, and 19 varieties of peppers, including 11 types of hot peppers. Other selections include culinary herbs, assorted vegetables (cucumbers, cantaloupes, squash and watermelon) and over 25 types of flowers and house plants. Four-packs are $1.50 each and 48-pack flats are only $15. Four-inch pots of Dragon Wing Begonias and Wave Petunias are $2.50 each and 10-inch hanging baskets of the same are $10 and 12-inch baskets are $12.
