Michael Charles Yarosh

Michael Charles Yarosh, born July 16, 1978 in Baltimore, Maryland, departed this life on March 18, 2017 in South Boston, after a long fight with heart disease. 

He is the son of Theresa and Bud Preston, of Brookneal. Mike also leaves behind a brother, Fred Yarosh of Mt. Pocono, Pennsylvania; a grandfather, Michael A. Kizis of Brookneal, a stepsister, Melissa Johnson of Port Deposit, Maryland; his uncles, Daniel Kizis of Melrose, Massachusetts, Michael L. Kizis of Cream Ridge, New Jersey, and their families. He will be sadly missed by his ex-wife, Emily Daniel Yarosh and children, Michael “MJ” Yarosh Jr. and Abigail Yarosh, of Charlotte County. 

Mike is preceded in death by his father, Winfred Yarosh; aunt, Karen Yarosh; uncle, Charles Castrenze; grandmothers, Annelisea Castrenze and Tessie Kizis.

Mike was best known for all the carpentry work he has done around the Charlotte County area. He worked for various companies, but did a lot of work independently and no job was too small for Mike. He will be missed by all who depended on him.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home. 

Mike loved to have a good time and his last wishes were that all of his family and friends have one more party in his honor, which will be held at Sheldon’s Restaurant immediately following the service.

The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, is in charge of the arrangements.
